It was a magical day for those who attended. It felt like it really was Christmas. The trees were spectacular, the food-unforgettable. It was a good time had by all that attended. The ladies who did not attend missed an unforgettable event! Celebritites sang at the tables or told jokes, shopping was to be done while sipping on complementary beverages and being serenaded by Elvis.

Lady Jane's Day In Newmarket

15 Lovely Diva's showed Newmarket what it's like to be a Red hat Lady. I had one lady in the Maid's Inn asking for the Red Hat phone number, she wanted to belong. We had people hanging out car windows yelling "We like your hats!" The food was excellent. although most of the stores were closed in the old part of Newmarket, there was still shopping to be done.
Thank you Lady Jane and a big thank you to Jackie for opening up your home to us strangers.

Linda's Spa Day and Joye's Birthday Celebration

What an enjoyable day , 7 Diva's had at Linda's home. We enjoyed our lunches and a special birthday cake made by Linda to celebrate Joye's birthday. (Thanks Mom #2, my favourite kind of cake, yum yum!)
We then indulged in face spas, foot spas and hand spas. Some of us even painted our toenails! For those of you who weren't there, you missed a fantastic time. Don't worry, we drank your share of the wine so it didn't go to waste! Thank you Linda for once again opening your home to the Red Hat Diva's. We all had a terrific time.

Helen's Housewarming and Nancy's Birthday

We had a wonderful turnout for Helen's Housewarming and Nancy's Birthday celebrations. 15 Diva's in all! The food at the Greek church was different for a change. We went back to Helen's where we sang Happy Birthday to Nancy and then drew some prizes. Ingrid brought some wonderful desserts, and tea, coffee, and wine were the refreshments of the day.

Gerry's Pool Party

What a wonderful time 10 red hat ladies had enjoying the chit chat and freindship on August 16, 2007. The weather didn't want to co-operate in the beginning of the day but by the time we all got there, the sun was out. Warm enough for a dip in the pool with Joan S teaching us a few aquaarobics excercises. The air was cool after getting out so into the hottub it was. Gerry's husband Bill was the bar-b-que chef that day and he did an amazing job. Gerry, you are the hostess with the mostest. Thank you for opening your home up to us. We all had an enjoyable time.

Alpaca Farm

What a day it was. Nice breeze, not too hot and plenty of wine! Joan welcomed us to the farm and let us go wild and crazy.
We all brought our lunch and then Ingrid once again out did herself, bringing in lots of food and desserts. Hail to our Queen!!!
We had a nice orchestra of 12 ladies humming along with their Kazoo's for the days entertainment. When Nancy got back from her business, she gave us an up close and personal tour of the farm. Feeding Alpaca's and petting Patsy Swine the pig. Thanks you both Joan and Nancy for making our day special!

Hawiaan Luau

The Lindsay group of Red hatters invited other groups of Red (and Pink) Hatters for a festive time at the Admiral Inn in Lindsay. Approximately 80 Red Hatters dressed in their finest Hawiaan Outfits. It was a very colourful event, the food was plentiful and the desserts, well, they were calorie free that day only. Yummy!!!! Even though the entertainment arrived late, we were all entertained but some jokes and poetry. A fun time indeed!

Jane's Birthday Party

It was a hot summer day with just enough breeze (if you were sitting in the shade) We did have a light sprinkling of rain but it cleard up nicely. Jane, her family, 8 Diva's along with a couple of Red hat guests were present to celebrate Jane's special day. No one ventured into the pool that day but maybe another time. The food was delicious and the drinks were abundant. Thank you Jane for having us into your home.
