Aunt Laura's Christmas Luncheon

12 Diva's joined together for fun and friendship at Aunt Laura's. We also had a chance to say Merry Christmas to all, see you next year. We ate, we laughed, we sang, we shopped, all in one spot. can't get any better than that!.
thank you lady Joye for our new Diva ditty, it is fantastic and we all did a great job singing it for the very first time! we will need to sing that in Detroit. We also had news of one of thee Diva's leaving the group. So long Lady Brenda, we are sorry to see you go, nothing but best wishes where ever you go. Thank you lady Carolyn for another great outing!

Parkwood Tea in Oshawa

Two of our Diva's and a host of other red hatters came together in Red Hat friendship to have tea at the home of Colonel and Adelaide McLaughlin-Parkwood. The tea was delicious and the sweets decadent.

Avanti Restaurant and Memorial Park in Oshawa

8 Diva's weathered the snow to come to Oshawa for dinner at Avanti restaurant in downtown Oshawa. The food was exquisite! From there we walked down to memorial Park for the tree lighting ceremony. volunteers were handing out hot chocolate, and we sang a few carols to boot. We may even become famous as we had our group photo taken by the Oshawa Express newspaper. As we were leaving- a jolly old soul, namely, Santa came riding in on his sleigh. A fun night that wasn't too late.

Hamilton Sock Hop

Five Diva's joined together for a road trip to Hamilton where the the Red hat group there put on a 50's and 60's style sock hop. The music was fantastic with a 7 piece band. Food was delicious but most of it ran out before the people did. Alot of dancing going on!

Niagara Falls October 2008

10 Red hat ladies, 8 Diva's and two Red Hat guests met up in Grimsby before heading to Niagara Falls for 3 relaxing fun filled days. Our rooms were located next to the pool and the hot tubs so it made happy hour even more enjoyable. A few ladies shopped, some went to the casino's and some relaxed at the hotel. Tuesday night we enjoyed the dinner theatre in which "Canada Eh" was playing. Wednesday, we shopped in Niagara on the Lake. An enjoyable time was had by all!!

Cannington Spa Day

On October 15th, 9 Diva's met at Lady Linda's for a fabulous spa day. There was alot of wine, women and songs I'm told. Finger foods and appetizers were on the menu today. The Div'as had a mud face and didn't have time for a foot spa as there was too much chatting going on. What else is new!!

Dorval Quebec, Blingfest 2008

Thursday night started with the Diva's meeting at Dines in Oshawa for an excellent supper. we then travelled back to lady helen's placve for drinks. It was an early night for some. A few ladies stayed the night at Queen ingrid's and Lady Helen's so as to be ready for our trip on Friday.

Fourteen Diva's took the Via Train to Montreal Blingfest 2008. We got "shussshed" on the way there and back on the train, noisy women! We even had some memorable entertainment on the train. Thanks Lady Linda!!! Friday night we had a nice meal at the hotel, then most of the ladies took part in the evening pool party. Saturday morning all you could eat breakfast was delicious. We then boarded the bus for a tour of Old Montreal. We all seen places we had never seen before, beautiful old historic buildings, a view from a look out point and even a visit to a marketplace to have lunch. Supper was a formal affair as all the diva's were dressed to the nines and then some! Supper was delicious and then we were treated to impersonators from Star Entertainment, we had young elvis, Old Elvis, Garth Brooks, The Platters, Neil Diamond, Buddy Holly and Janis Joplin was included as well. Very good. Some of the diva's stayed and partied it up after the entertainment was over. Breakfast the next day was again suppurb. Draws, parasol competitions, and P.J. fashion shows were on the agenda this morning. Stinky and Pinky were quite the pair on stage! Lady Helen and Princess Arlene came in 4th for mtoher and daughter parasol contest. Congratulations! The train ride back was again enjoyable and a good time was had by all. Thank you Dorval ladies, we had a blast!!!!

Dunsford and Bobcaygeon Outing

What a beautiful day for a drive to the north country. The majority of the Diva's met at lady Kerrie's and we then car pooled to Dunsford where we shopped at the Bargain Barn. Lady Joan W won the draw the owner had especially for our group. We then went to Bobcaygeon where we dined at the Kawartha Coffee
company. Food was delicious as always, conversation-many laughs. there were a total of 14 Diva's and one guest present. We all had a wonderful time, thank you lady Kerrie for arranging this outing!

Camping in Haliburton

Three Diva's took off for the great green north! Lady Elva, Princess Arlene and our Queen B Ingrid stayed at Queen B's brothers grounds and had one heck of a good time! We toured, we ate, we drank and we were very merry! thanks Queen B and Brother for the wonderful camping trip!
