Nancy's Luncheon

Plans changed for September 10 as we were supposed to go to the Polish hall for lunch. They were cloesed for the summer so our Queen B and Lady Nancy has us over to Lady Nancy's for a very nice luncheon. It was a nice time just to relax and visit one another once again. Thanks Lady N for your hospitality!

August 31 was never the same as that is the day Lady Nancy M was born. We celebrated it in Red Hat Style at the park in Lindsay Ontario. It was a sunny day but cool if you were in the shade. We munched on KFC.

What a fun time as 12 ladies headed to Hill's Island Resort from July 29- July 31 2009.We gambled, we swam and we gabbed. Pics will follow sometime as asoon as I find them on my computer.

Gerry's Annual Pool and Hot Tub Party

August 13 turned out to be a beautiful day as the ladies got together for another wonderful day of fun and friendship at Lady Gerry's. Food as always is abundant. Cabana Boy Bill also had company this year, Beverage Boy Bart was a new addition.
Thank you once again Lady Gerry and CB Bill for opening your homes to us Divas!!

Helen's Tea In Oshawa

It was a beautiful day, hot and sunny. A day for relaxing and a day of friendship. 16 ladies got together to help celebrate our very our Queen B's birthday as well as lady Linda's. We also had another birthday amongst our guests and that was Lady Florence. We sang a lot of "happy birthdays today"! Lady Helen, you put on a fantastic tea, assorted varieties, along with coffee, and lemonade, sandwiches, and the desserts were delicious. All in all, a fantastic day for an outing ladies!!

Peony Festival

June 13, 2009 was a gorgeous day for an outing! Three Diva's got together for friendship and fun to the Annual Peony festival in Oshawa, Ontario. The blooms were plentiful. I was amazed at the amount of varieties there were. In fact, there were 308 different plants. Most were in bloom, some were to come and some were finished. We stopped for a coffee at the cafe, visited the vendors, listened to music, ad even had a photo at the antique cars. we also took the free shuttle over to Parkwood estates where there were more vendors, the Bonsai Society, and even a wedding going on at the grounds. we ended up going to check out the remember When tea house in Brooklyn for lunch-fantastic and very reasonable. Brooklyn also had their annual art in the park festival going on. It was a great day and ended with Happy Hour at our Queen B's. Thank you ladies for brightening my day!

Downtown Motown Detroit Michigan

What a blast we 10 ladies had in Detroit Michigan for 4 days (May 14-17, 2009)!! We danced, we laughed, we gambled, we drank, we ate, we or I should say, one even tried to break up a fight. There was plenty of fun to be had in Detroit. We even shopped on the way back home. 702 red hat ladies attended this fabulous event. A fun time had by all who wanted to have fun!

Simply Us Mardi Gras

12 Red Hat Diva's dressed in red hat Mardi Gras style to join other Red hat members at La Renaissance hall in Oshawa on April 18, 2009. Groups came from all over to join in the festivities. There was dancing to be done, eating to be enjoyed, chatting was the norm, and a fantastic time was had by all who attended. Door prizes were abundance as were prizes for best costumes and best masks. The day wasn't' complete without a very unique fashion show. Thank you Simply Us for a wonderful time!!!

Our Annual AGM and Olympia Restaurant

13 Diva's turned out on a miserable rainy day for more fun and friendship. Of course no day is complete without laughter and lots of chatter. The food was excellent as always. We concluded our day filling up our calenders for the year, lots of events to attend this year and I am sure as always, there will be extras added as the summer progresses.

Spring Fling, Port Hope, Ontario

It was a beautiful spring day for a drive to Port Hope,(April 5, 2009_ The sun was shinning and it was fairly warm out. There was an abundance of Red and Purple and even two pinkies to celebrate Spring.We also celebrated Lady Gerry's birthday as well as our friend Lady Marilyn. I think she and Marilyn got just a little embarassed by us singing happy birthday to them
There was an egg hunt, door prizes, an indoor yard sale and even entertainment. Six Diva's attended todays event along with several other chapter. The food was delicious and the conversation was flowing. A great time had by all.

Ingrid's Mexican Fiesta

It was so nice to get together with a few of the gals just to see each other again. It's been a long winter for some and an even longer for others. Some got to go on trips!
8 ladies gathered at our Queens to work on our Marti Gras masks, Easter bonnets and just to cherish one another's friendship. Of course, we all had laughs and conversation was plentiful. Our Queen B Ingrid T made a wonderful luncheon including a delicious salad,a Mexican type lasagna, and of course no meal is complete with out dessert. We also celebrated two of our divas birthdays- (Aunt) Elva and Carolyn's. Happy Birthday to you both! Many more to come. Thank you Queen B for opening your home to us once again! Your awesome!!!

Women's Week-end Spa

Lady Ingrid and Princess Arlene couldn't have enough go0d things to say about this week-end. we had massages, facials manicures, pedicures, wine, microdermabrasions, wine, watched a fashion show, did I say wine, watched some of the sex and the city ,movie, did i say wine? and we are back again tomorrow to do it all over again!! And we had some wine!!! You should be sorry you missed it all ladies!!!
