Dorval Quebec, Blingfest 2008

Thursday night started with the Diva's meeting at Dines in Oshawa for an excellent supper. we then travelled back to lady helen's placve for drinks. It was an early night for some. A few ladies stayed the night at Queen ingrid's and Lady Helen's so as to be ready for our trip on Friday.

Fourteen Diva's took the Via Train to Montreal Blingfest 2008. We got "shussshed" on the way there and back on the train, noisy women! We even had some memorable entertainment on the train. Thanks Lady Linda!!! Friday night we had a nice meal at the hotel, then most of the ladies took part in the evening pool party. Saturday morning all you could eat breakfast was delicious. We then boarded the bus for a tour of Old Montreal. We all seen places we had never seen before, beautiful old historic buildings, a view from a look out point and even a visit to a marketplace to have lunch. Supper was a formal affair as all the diva's were dressed to the nines and then some! Supper was delicious and then we were treated to impersonators from Star Entertainment, we had young elvis, Old Elvis, Garth Brooks, The Platters, Neil Diamond, Buddy Holly and Janis Joplin was included as well. Very good. Some of the diva's stayed and partied it up after the entertainment was over. Breakfast the next day was again suppurb. Draws, parasol competitions, and P.J. fashion shows were on the agenda this morning. Stinky and Pinky were quite the pair on stage! Lady Helen and Princess Arlene came in 4th for mtoher and daughter parasol contest. Congratulations! The train ride back was again enjoyable and a good time was had by all. Thank you Dorval ladies, we had a blast!!!!
